the "Xmas" project (part/ie 1)

the "Xmas" project
is a series of 40 Holiday cards, numbered individually, with a photograph on the front. The photographs in the series were culled from the Internet by Googling the term "xmas" and selecting the most evocative images from the results. This series is following in the footsteps of "Amateur", a bookset of amateur male pornography consisting of images exclusively found online.

My fascination for found images is now boundless with online photo sharing and there is an odd beauty to an image that wasn't meant to be considered in a serious artistic context, with its candidness and its lack of inhibitions.
